Breath Prayer

Sit quietly with your feet flat on the floor and your hands on your thighs.  Pay attention to your breathing.  When you feel calm, turn your hands over so the back of your hands are resting on your legs and your palms are facing upward.  As you inhale, pray “I am listening, O God,” and as you exhale ask, “Where will you send me?”  You may choose to offer it once or in a repeated pattern that follows the rhythm of your breath.
