Paul addresses the People in Athens
My God, who made the world and everything
Since He is Lord of heaven and the earth
He does not live and dwell in man-made things
Instead God giveth life and breath and birth
God pre-appointed times and dwellings too
So all might seek the Lord and long for Him
The truth is God is near to me and you
In Him we live and ably move our limbs
We are not like things shaped by human hands
We’re offspring of that ever-living God
Through God, our thoughts may not be so earth-bound
But fixed upon Eternity abroad
Repent and live the way that God intends
Our God is not an object but a friend
Based on Acts 17:22-31
